Two new cards

I have just completed two new cards - one with 3D flower and one with just a flower and gemstone.

After the Long weekend

We took a well needed break to join some friends at a cottage up north over the long weekend. It was so great to get away from the noise of the city. Lots of great weather and so neat to see blue jays and chipmunks up close. Also got to see my first ever hummingbird, but no pictures of him - he was just too fast. Daisy had her first ever swim and seemed to really love the water. If only it was that easy for me to learn how to swim. We had a great bbq on Saturday night and then out to dinner on Sunday night. Lynn and I went into town on Sunday morning while the guys went golfing and visited some of the neat stores. I found some amazing Silk Sari Ribbon - which you can knit with - but I'll be using it on my Christmas cards for sure. The whole skein will probably last a lifetime but it was just too neat and different to pass up. I'll try to scan it and post a picture but it won't do it justice as it's a shiny material. Will edit some pictures of critters and post shortly.
